Since I had my video camera with me I filmed some of the ride up and back down again to the gate house. The roads are roughed in and infrastructure is being put in. (water and sewer) Coming from a family that built roads for a living. (Widening of Broadway, Airport Road) I can tell you from experience this project is not been an easy task. When building roads from scratch and running water and sewer lines there are always problems. Then add the fact that Versant is achieving a distinction that only 36 other projects have achieved in the world. (the Audubon International Gold Signature Sanctuary Program)That is no small feat.

That will be when the discussion turns to in--migration. 97% of Asheville's population is moving into the area. With that many people moving into the Asheville, North Carolina real estate market. We should be able to maintain our appreciation rates.
I would also recommend watching the video to the end at the 14:30 Mark it is mentioned, that Asheville ranked 12th in the United States out of 186 metro areas for home appreciation.

I along with the other attendees was pleased to hear that Asheville has a vibrant economy.

We were also quite surprised to find out that Asheville has a growing number of professional and business services jobs.

I also found it interesting that having 95% population growth due to in-migration only 12% of that was from Florida.

Asheville residential housing has remained relatively stable with appreciation rates holding steady. with the number of units declining due to the slowdown of other markets that provide new residents to the area. Asheville's appreciation rates have held unlike many other communities.
